The selection of appropriate treatment to protect artwork and furniture from the elements is an important decision. Much loved and important artefacts, particularly timber artwork, need to be preserved in the settings they were designed and chosen for. These items are  touched by people and the treatment should be one which is entirely safe and which results in an appearance which respects and sustains the object in the landscape setting.
